Women's Skills & Livelihood Workshops

Training alone does not create a livelihood. A skill without capital, and capital without a savings habit, both tend to disappear within a year.

This programme paired vocational training — tailoring, catering, soap and cosmetics production — with seed grants and, critically, with cooperative savings groups that continued meeting after the workshops ended.

The final cohort completed in late 2025. Follow-up visits found the majority of participants still trading, with the savings groups now operating independently of WHD.
